PR agency Medea Communications has engaged the former chair of a major hospital drugs and therapeutics committee to act as an expert consultant.
Dr Gilbert Park, until recently Chair of the Joint Drugs and Therapeutics committee at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge will act in an advisory capacity to East Sheen, UK-based Medea, with specific focus on helping pharmaceutical companies to navigate the ever-changing NHS.
Medea’s managing director Kate Hawker said: “Pharmaceutical companies need to deliver robust cost justification evidence to persuade payors to invest in new drugs and Dr Park is in a unique position to advise companies about how to develop a successful business case for their products.”
Dr Park will also work with Medea to develop specific photographic and digital audio offerings designed to support industry dialogue with the NHS from his new state-of-the-art media studio in Cambridge.
